Off on a cruise, is your luggage rightfully packed?

Wintertime, rain, snow, temperatures at single digits and below zero, who wouldn’t want a way out? If only there was a magic wand that could take you to a warmer and sunnier climate, a spell that would allow you to relax and enjoy your time, while explore a different culture and taste local delicacies. Variety Cruises continues to operate some very summery itineraries for all those that need to escape from their routine. However your excitement to go on a small ship cruise during winter sometimes blinds your judgement and find yourselves not rightfully prepared and packed.

Yes, of course you should bring a jacket, but you probably wanna leave all those sweaters in your wardrobe. Pack one or two. Don’t forget you’re going to a place it’s -always- summer! The Seychelles Cruise Paradise or Cape Verde or finally the Costa Rica & The Panama Canal Cruise, are all in regions with equatorial climate, giving them an average annual temperature is around 30 °C (86 °F) during the day and 23 °C (73 °F) at night.

However rainfall is always high in these regions, and they come and quickly go, but that may leave you looking for shelter if you’re on the mainland or visiting an island. It’s really important to bring with you a small umbrella or a light raincoat. At the same time sun is always present, so you really need not forgetting a hat and sunscreen!

As for what you’re going to wear, prefer a lot of natural cotton shirts and light blouses or dresses, although your t-shirts are probably gonna be your best friends during the cruise. Also don’t forget to bring some swimsuits and anything you’ll need for a dive in the warm waters of the equator. Most of all, don't forget to pack your excitement for this beautiful cruise, you’re about to embark!
